188. James LILLARD was born on 30 Nov 1724 in Culpeper Co, VA.⁽⁴⁸⁾ He died in 1804. He Note. James Lillard was a revolutionary soldier. He married Kesiah Bradley, a second cousin of James Maddison, father of President Maddison.
James and Kesiah resided in Culpepper Co. and parish of Brumfield, in Virginia. It is said in in the Virginia records office that, James and kesiah had over 800 acres of land, many negro slaves, and livestock.

189. Kesiah BRADLEY died about 1805/6. Children were:

i. James II LILLARD was born in 1751 in Culpeper Co, VA. He died on 30 Nov 1810 in Smithland, KY.

iv. Lt. Benjamin LILLARD was born in 1753 in Culpeper Co, VA.
v. Elizabeth LILLARD was born after 1778 in Culpeper Co, VA.
vi. Augustine LILLARD was born on 30 Nov 1759 in Culpeper Co, VA. He died on 30 Nov 1802 in Vale, OR.
vii. Mildred LILLARD was born on 1 Dec 1778 in Culpeper Co, VA. She died on 15 Sep 1864 in Linville, OH.
